Tai Chi is a gentle exercise form which originated as a very effective form of self- defence. Today we use Tai Chi to keep our joints and muscles in good working order. Stiffness can occur at any age so it's never too soon to start a class. Tai Chi also improves your balance, co-ordination and posture, as the sequence is upright without being too rigid.
Gentle Chi Kung exercises are taught as a warm-up. Most of these exercises can be performed seated and so are suitable even for those who have difficulty standing.
